Game Plans for a Small Alliance

Situation 1: We Have More Power Than the Opponent

  • Goal: Attack fast and win early.

  • Pre-Game: Activate all buffs. Leaders assign roles: Attackers, Garrisons, and Looters.1

  • Building Priority:

    1. Belltowers and Royal Stables (Phase 1): Capture these first to get a speed advantage for all other buildings and faster teleport cooldowns.4

    2. Swordshrine and Hall of Reformation (Phase 2): Secure the central Swordshrine for the most points and the Hall of Reformation for a combat buff that makes your alliance stronger.4

    3. Under-cellars (Phase 3): Capture these late-game buildings for a large final boost of points.4

  • Phase 1 (Start): Attackers teleport and rally on Belltowers and Royal Stables first.4 These give speed and teleport buffs.

  • Phase 1 (After): Garrisons reinforce these buildings to hold them.1

  • Phase 2 (Middle): Attackers move to capture the central Swordshrine and Hall of Reformation for big points and buffs.4 If the Swordshrine is not contested, put only a small garrison (like 100 troops) to get points and save healing items from Viking attacks.1

  • Phase 3 (End): Attackers capture Under-cellars for a final point boost.4 Looters find and burn enemy cities to force them away from the fight.1

Situation 2: We Have Equal or Less Power Than the Opponent

  • Goal: Avoid big fights and win by getting points in other ways.

  • Pre-Game: Save all healing speedups.1 Assign roles: Attackers and Looters.1

  • Building Priority:

    1. Looting Scattered Points (All Phases): When the enemy captures a building, send fast troops to collect scattered points.5 This is the safest way to get many points.

    2. Belltowers and Royal Stables (Phase 1): Capture these only if they are not defended. The speed and mobility buffs are very important for your "hit and run" tactics.4

    3. Mercenary Camp (Phase 2): Use this building to send mercenaries to attack the opponent's garrisons and disrupt their main strategy.4

    4. Other Buildings: High-point buildings like the Swordshrine and Under-cellars should be attacked only if the enemy leaves them undefended. Your main goal is to get points from other, safer methods.4

  • Phase 1 (Start): Attackers do not fight for contested buildings. Instead, find any undefended Belltowers or Royal Stables and capture them.4

  • Point-Scoring: Looters must collect "scattered points" that appear when the enemy captures a building.5 This is the safest way to get many points.

  • Harassment: Attackers use the Mercenary Camp to send mercenaries to hit enemy buildings, forcing them to defend. Attackers also do "hit and run" attacks on enemy cities to force them to teleport away.1

  • Tactical Healing: If your troops are hurt, leave the battle. You get a full, free heal after 12 minutes.5 Use this trick to save your healing speedups.
